A little confusion in compiling the results from this week when we discovered that a rider from Tri Lakeland had infiltrated the race. Perhaps it was tactical? The commisars will have to investigate! Nigel Smith from Chester chased home Phil Ellison from Endurance with a gap of under half a second in what looks like it must have been a close 2-up sprint at the end of this race. Slightly smaller numbers that we normally expect from the Rochdale Team gave the Serpentine riders a chanve, and Alex Pearson grabbed that in winning this event, with Serpentine riders taking 3 of the top 4 slots.
