After the Head to Head Races

After 7 weeks of racing, the Kick Off races, the Time Trial and now the 5 Head-to-Head Races for each team, we have the current team standings:

So Rochdale have a perfect score so far at the top of the table, and Wyre are only behind them from the results onm the Kick Off Races. It's tight!

In Heroes Week there are a maximum of 12 points to be had. Only the fastest member of each club will have a counting score in the Male, Female, Male over 50, Female over 50, Male Junior and Female Junior categories.

We will take the time achieved by each club's Heroes and will award points from 12 down to 1 for each Hero. Then we will add these Hero points together for each club to give us a club order and therefore points from 12 down to 1 will be added to the totals above.

In week 9 we will have a Female Only single race.

Then, in week 10 we will have the Grand Finale where double points are awared in a single mass race. The day and time of the race will be based around the biggest turnout for the week 8 races.

So there are still a maximum of 48 points to be fought over.

Let me just say a huge thank you to the Captains for marshalling you all through the Head-to-Head races. It can be a bit like herding cats, so please take time to thank your Captains without whom this would be impossible to organise.
