So we've had the final race. Some 138 brave souls completed the final tough event with a couple of circuits including those awful cobbled climbs.
Before going onto the results, first let me thank everyone who took part, encouraged others, and a special thank you to the Captains who got so many of you involved.
I also want to apologise that sometimes it takes a while to get the results out. Sometimes it is because (as it turns out) I have other things to do or places to be, and sometimes the unknowable nuances of the way ZwiftPower relates to Zwift just throws us all a curveball.
Anyway, enough of that - what you want are the results. (I guess those of you who are very keen will have already seen the results for the last race here https://zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=5471718&sid=5e0c2f07a091ad047bf11ab11e3b3f96.
The Zwift Power link allows all of you to look up your own performance and where you stand immediately the race ends.
The top 20 finshers in the Grand Finale are:

Special congrats to Nigel Smith from Chester who cruised home over 18 seconds ahead of Paul Jagger from Wyre who in turn was clear of Alex Pearson from Serpentine.
What ZwiftPower does not show is how our scoring system recognises the age and gender differences. If we list the results by points scored then we get the following:

It's great to see Ewa Leja and Susie Kirkham from Wyre, and Rebecca Watson from Tri Lakeland represented in this list as well as so many different clubs.

It's also great to see a few juniors taking part

But when we take into account the scores by all the riders in each club we (yet again) congratulate Rochdale for coming top of the tree:

In the next couple of days we will start to circulate the series results both for clubs and this year we will also honour individual rider performances.
