1st September sees the start of our new winter project: 5x55. The objective is for our athlete B to achieve a sub-5hr 70.3 triathlon before he hits his 55th birthday in July 2022.
Over the coming weeks we will be looking at the swim leg, bike leg, and run leg targets, the transition techniques, the S&C work, the training programmes, the event selection, breaking the goal down into macro and micro training plans. We will look at equipment, nutrition, race day tips and everything we can think off as a team to help B hit his goal.
